Description
As the name suggests, the J. Neus Spätburgunder Muschelkalk VDP.Gutswein comes exclusively from parcels with shell limestone soils around Ingelheim. The shell limestone gives the wine a distinct minerality that emphasizes the slender elegance of the Pinot Noir. The wine is characterized by aromas of red berries with light tobacco and toasted notes. The freshness and acidity that is present make this pleasantly modest Pinot Noir a red wine to enjoy every day. Bravo!
