Rheinhessen

A co-production of Seckinger and Griesel / Von Wiesen from the Hessische Bergstrasse. Seckinger's spicy, wild acid rosé 2021 is the base. Added to this is 10% blackcurrant juice from Von Wiesen. Unique bottling with a fine sparkle.

This is where it gets more serious. Blend of muscat, sauvignon, gewürztraminer and riesling. Skin maceration for 21 days and fully fermented in tonneaux, 500-litre barrels. Only 10 mg/L of sulphites added before bottling. Extremely stable.

There is a hint of “natural” funk in the aftertaste but this just adds to the complexity and beauty of this amazing Sekt. What a great success! 2024-2029. Mosel Fine Wines No67 Sept 2023.

Superb pinot noir from Tobias Feiden from Winningen. Aged for 24 months on barrique and with 20% 'whole bunch' fermentation. MFW 90 points.

Bone-dry blend of Riesling (80%) and Müller-Thurgau (20%) from vines between 7 and 70 years old from steep vineyards. Fermented without intervention and only5 mg/L total So2. Flocking good!

Robust rosé with 4-hour skin maceration. Then pressed and direct to stainless steel. Aged for 6 months. 1400 bottles produced and only 10 mg of sulphite added just before bottling.
