Wijnhuis.Amsterdam is a wine store and wine merchant in Amsterdam specialised in importing wine from 'German speaking' countries or areas. Close to the Vondelpark and around the corner from the Amstelveenseweg you will find a surprising and fine range of (natural) wines.  Our shop is easily accessible by public transport (tram 2 stops in front of the door) and even by car it is only 5 minutes from the A10 ring road. Parking is also not a problem. You can do so in front of the shop or opposite the shop in the Saxen Weimarlaan.

The Store
Our shop is spacious. With a ceiling height of 4 metres and a depth of 14 metres, there is plenty of room for wines and wine lovers. The centrepiece of the shop is our standing table made of ash wood from the Amsterdam forest. With a length of 3 metres and a width of at least 1 metre (the edges are unfinished), there is room for at least 20 tasters or 12 course participants. We present our wine selection on wine racks made of steel and attached to the walls. Underneath the kitchen there is a large storage cellar. A large part of the stock is therefore immediately available. The facade is anthracite grey and has stained-glass windows. Opening the back doors leads to the garden. There is also room here to receive a group.

In our shop we now have a completely independent selection of wines. Our range is mainly European, with an emphasis on elegantly digestible dry wines with as little alcohol as possible. The majority of the range is organic and biodynamic. Not because we have to, but because these are often the purest, most drinkable wines for us.
